This September, Paul Smith’s ‘A Suit To Travel In’ hits the road.

Bringing new meaning to the travel suit, across three continents, a troop of artists from London’s National Centre for Circus Arts (NCCA) will demonstrate the dynamic qualities of ‘A Suit To Travel In’ in a series of jaw-dropping performances.

Using high-twist, 100% wool yarn, the autumn/winter 15 Paul Smith ‘A Suit To Travel In’ is constructed with quick recovery, crease-resistant cloth that has water-repellent qualities. The suit’s contemporary silhouette is complimented by all the features of a versatile and highly-practical tailoring piece, making it a distinguished example of Paul’s sophisticated but functional approach to suiting. It’s a suit every man should have in his wardrobe.

Presented for the first time at London Collections: Men in January 2015, under the direction of former Head of Movement for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Struan Leslie, a collection of awe-inspiring feats were performed by artists from the National Centre for Circus Arts, wearing ‘A Suit To Travel In’. Reprising the event, the same artists from the NCCA will tour the world in the ‘A Suit To Travel In’, performing in Taipei, Shanghai, Bangkok, Mumbai,Moscow and Dubai.

Paul explains: “My new ‘Suit To Travel In’ is a suit that really works. We’re travelling it around and showing it in a way that celebrates its ability to move and putting it through its paces in an extreme way. The suit is perfect for all the climates that the artists will be travelling through as the cloth is 100% wool so it’s breathable and the construction allows for lots of movement. It’s a suit you can tour the world in!”
