Asian Beach Polo Championship Charity for ‘Kamlangjai Project’

Mr.Suwat Liptapanlop, former deputy prime minister and the advisory chairman of  the organizing committee for Asian Beach Polo and Mr.Harald Link, chairman of B.Grimm Group and president of Thailand Equestrian Federation, the first beach polo player in Thailand in his capacity as the organizing committee chairman recently organized the ‘InterContinental-B.Grimm Asian Beach Polo Championship’, Asia’s only beach polo event. It was the sixth beach polo and took place at Hua Hin white sand beach in front of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, where Thai Polo team won over India team with scores of 7-0.  The Thai Polo Team was awarded the Princess PA’s Cup.

 

Proceeds will go to support the ‘Kamlangjai Project’ or Inspire by Princess PA, initiated by HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha to reach out to women in incarceration including pregnant inmates and their babies.

 

All guests with good hearts including H.E.Enno Drofenik, Austrian Ambassador to Thailand; M.L.Poonyanuch Kashemsanta; Anutin Charnvirakul; Panarat Bunnag; Weera Sriwathanatrakoon; Proudputh Liptapanlop; Chanadda Chirathivat; Apinara Srikarnchana; Aillada Dulyajinda; Praewphan   Youngprapakorn; Matunart Sosothikul; Thawin P.Siaotong and many more.

 

Besides the exciting polo game, spectators also enjoyed fashion show on horseback, local horse racing, fun games for prize winning and etc. The day concluded with the ‘Summer Wind’ themed dinner party with a picnic on the beach mood and tone.   A highlight of the party was charity auction on three water-color paintings by Hua Hin local artists.              The auction managed to raise 600,000.- Baht for the ‘Kamlangjai Project’.
